The present invention relates to an activity information providing method and an electronic device supporting the same. The disclosed electronic device comprises: a sensor collecting sensor information； and a processor connected to the sensor functionally. The processor acquires activity information including at least one among an exercise amount yielded based on sensor information generated from doing a specified exercise and a movement amount yielded based on sensor information generated from daily life, determines an expected activity amount of being performed by a user for a specified period of time based on the activity information, and provides guide information to achieve an activity goal of the user based on the expected activity amount or the activity information.
