The present invention pertains to the following: a fishing-line guide member whereby fishing lines are less prone to breaking; and a fishing-line guide and fishing rod provided with said fishing-line guide member. This fishing-line guide member (1) is ring-shaped. In a view of a cross-section of this fishing-line guide member (1), said cross-section containing the axis of the fishing-line guide member (1), the surface of the fishing-line guide member (1) curves from the inner circumference thereof towards the outer circumference thereof. Letting R1 represent the radius of curvature of the axial middle of the inner-circumference-side curved surface and letting R2 represent the radius of curvature of the axial ends of said curved surface, R1 is larger than R2, making it possible to increase the size of the region against which the fishing line can slide. As such, the pressure to which the fishing line is subjected perpendicularly to the inner-circumference-side surface of the fishing-line guide member (1) when the fishing line slides against said surface can be prevented from becoming too large. Wear on the fishing line is thus reduced, making the fishing line less prone to breaking.
