PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headphone type odor generator allowing recognition of aspects of articles by vision and olfaction.SOLUTION: In a capsule housing cylinder 6 at the position of one speaker of the headphone in a headphone type odor generator, capsule aggregate sealed with odors, piezoelectric valves controlling discharge of odors from individual capsules and a piezoelectric valve fixing plate fixed with odor discharge needles are fixed inside in an adhered condition, and an odor delivery tube 5 is fixed outside. In a housing cylinder 2 for a fan and a substrate arranged on the opposite side, a blowing fan and an electronic circuit board are housed, and a wire equipped with a USB plug is pulled out. At both ends of a head pad 1 containing a plurality of fine wires and a freely bendable plate spring of thin metal, the housing cylinder 2 for the fan and the substrate and the capsule housing cylinder 6 are fixed. Data from a personal computer is processed by a built-in electronic circuit the capsule aggregate and the capsule are selected while the piezoelectric valve and the fan are driven and outer air, together with an odor generated inside the capsule housing cylinder 6, is discharged, by the fan, from the odor delivery tube 5 through the inside of the head pad 1 out of the generator.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】視覚と臭覚で物品の様態が認識できるヘッドフォン型匂い発生器を提供する。【解決手段】ヘッドフォンのスピーカーに、片方はカプセル収納筒6に匂いを封じ込めたカプセル集合体と、各々のカプセルから匂いの放出を制御する圧電弁と、匂い放出針を固定した圧電弁固定板を内部に密着固定し、匂い送出管5が外部に固定されている。反対側のファンと基板収納筒2には送風用のファンと電子回路基板を収納し、USBプラグを装着したワイヤーが引き出されている。複数の細いワイヤーと薄い金属の自由に曲がる板バネを内蔵するヘッド当て1の両端には、ファンと基板収納筒2及びカプセル収納筒6が固定されている。パソコンから提供されるデータを内蔵の電子回路で処理し、カプセル集合体とカプセルを選択して圧電弁とファンを駆動し、外気をファンでヘッド当て1の内部を通り、匂い放出管5からカプセル収納筒6の内部で発生させた匂いとともに外に放出する。【選択図】図1
