A gait discrimination system comprising a terminal device which is to be attached on the walker and a server device for acquiring data from the terminal device, wherein: the terminal device comprises an angular velocity sensor and an acceleration sensor; the server device comprises a processor and a storage device connected to the processor; the storage device holds three-dimensional rectangular coordinate system angular velocity data measured by the angular velocity sensor and three-dimensional rectangular coordinate system acceleration data measured by the acceleration sensor; the processor specifies the two coordinate axes excluding the coordinate axis that forms the smallest angle with the vertical direction as the two axes closest to the direction-of-travel plane, which is orthogonal to the vertical direction, on the basis of the acceleration data and discriminates the walker's gait on the basis of the angular velocity data for the two axes closest to the direction-of-travel plane.
