The ultrasound imaging apparatus may set a region of interest (ROI) in an ultrasound image of an object, may divide the ROI into a plurality of sections, may generate a plurality of spectral Doppler images respectively corresponding to the plurality of sections, may determine a display order of a list of the plurality of spectral Doppler images based on a peak velocity value of blood flow, may display the ultrasound image of the object on a first region, and may display, on a second region, in the display order, spectral Doppler images whose peak velocity values of blood flow are greater than a preset value from among the plurality of spectral Doppler images of the list.
