The present invention relates to a light irradiation apparatus using light for skin care, and more specifically, to a hair removal device. The hair removal device can calm the skin irritation due to heat after the hair is removed using light to prevent skin damage. The hair removal device also can be utilized in various skin care operations such as massaging, whitening, or exfoliating the skin as well as removing the hair. The hair removal device also includes a hair removing unit having a light irradiation unit and a cooler having a cooling unit. Both of the hair removing unit and the cooler can store the heads of other coolers or other hair removing units respectively. According to the present invention, the hair removal device includes: and a hair removing unit having a first body and a first head having the light irradiation unit； a cooler having a second body and a second head having the cooling unit.
