The plant cultivation method comprises: utilizing the lighting unit to irradiate plants being cultivated in at least one plant cultivation layer； detecting light received by the plants in the plant cultivation layer and acquiring a light intensity measurement value； and adjusting the lighting intensity of the lighting unit according to the light intensity measurement value.
