Non-propellant sublingual fentanyl formulation comprising discrete liquid droplets of an effective amount of fentanyl in a pharmaceutically acceptable liquid carrier, said drops having an average diameter of at least about 10 micrometers, wherein said fentanyl formulation is configured to the sublingual supply and in which the sublingual formulation comprises from about 0.1% to about 0.8% by weight of fentanyl or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, from about 20% to about 60% by weight of ethanol； and from about 4% to about 6% by weight of propylene glycol.Formulación de fentanilo sublingual no propelente que comprende unas gotitas de líquido discretas de una cantidad eficaz de fentanilo en un vehículo líquido farmacéuticamente aceptable, presentando dichas gotas un diámetro medio de por lo menos aproximadamente 10 micrómetros, en la que dicha formulación de fentanilo está configurada para el suministro sublingual y en la que la formulación sublingual comprende desde aproximadamente 0,1% a aproximadamente 0,8% en peso de fentanilo o una sal farmacéuticamente aceptable del mismo, desde aproximadamente 20% a aproximadamente 60% en peso de etanol； y desde aproximadamente 4% a aproximadamente 6% en peso de propilenglicol.
