PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary pad increasing the absorbing amount of excremental liquid while preventing the leakage.
SOLUTION: A liquid-permeable surface sheet 5 of a first absorbent body 1 and a liquid-permeable lower face sheet 12 of a second absorbent body 2 are joined at joining parts 16 and 16 spaced in the width direction for forming a non-joining part 17 adjacent to the width directional central line. The liquid-permeable surface sheet 5 and the liquid-permeable lower face sheet 12 work as diffusion layers and diffuse the excremental liquid without being disturbed of its movement of the excremental liquid by the joining parts 16 and 16, so that the absorbing amount of the excremental liquid is increased by effectively using the whole of the respective absorbent bodies 7 and 13 while preventing the leakage.
