The present invention relates to an extract of Hylocereus Undatus white fruit that fluoresce in blue when exposed to light source comprising UV light, for example sunlight, and to its use as fluorescent colorant in cosmetic applications. When applied to skin, the extract reduces the perception of skin imperfections. Cosmetic applications include all skin products where a natural, even and clean skin appearance is desired.
