PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate mounting and demounting of a battery case and to fix its position when mounted in an electric tiller.SOLUTION: An electric tiller includes a battery case (9) storing a rechargeable battery (B), and an electric motor (8), and drives a rotary part (R) by the electric motor (8). In the electric tiller, a cover (7) is provided for covering the electric motor (8), and wall parts (6a) extending in a longitudinal direction are formed on both right and left sides behind the cover (7). The battery case (9) is detachably mounted between the wall parts (6a) on both right and left sides.
