The present disclosure relates to the storage of landed crustaceans. The container support has a surface for supporting the container. Each container has a cell for containing a living crustacean such as a lobster in a vertical direction substantially perpendicular to the plane. In certain embodiments, water is pumped intermittently from a sump to one or more containers on the crustacean. The collector collects the water that is pumped by the pump system and flows over the crustaceans and feeds it to the sump. In one embodiment, the cells are provided by partitions that divide the internal space of each container.
