PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional eyeball movement measuring apparatus (an eyeball tracking apparatus) which extracts characteristic points from a fundus image to calculate the amount of movement of an eyeball between acquired images by comparing the images, wherein the amount of movement of the eyeballs cannot be detected because the characteristic points are not present on the next image when the eyeball is moved if the extracted characteristic points are located at an end of an acquired image.

SOLUTION: The ophthalmologic apparatus detects movement of an examined eye by detecting change of positions of the characteristic points between a plurality of fundus images acquired from the examined eye. The ophthalmologic apparatus includes: an acquisition means for acquiring fundus images of the examined eye a setting means for setting a first region having a fixed width in a first fundus image of the acquired fundus images and an extraction means for extracting characteristic points from a second region, the region excluding the first region, in the first funds image.
