The invention relates to a gastric tube assembly comprising a tube with first and second ends and a lump element attached to the second end of the tube, wherein the tube and/or the lump element comprise dissolvable material, said lump element being configured to be swallowed by a patient, thereby feeding said tube through the patients oesophagus.
