PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an operating rod for a bush cutter in which sufficient weight reduction is possible.SOLUTION: An operating rod 1 for a bush cutter having a hollow tube 11 is provided for internally including a transmission shaft 8 for transmitting rotational force of an engine to a cutting blade side in a rotatable manner. In the hollow tube 11, multiple ribs 11b protruded from an inner circumferential surface 11a and extending in a tube axial direction of the hollow tube 11 are formed in the circumferential direction of the hollow tube 11 at intervals to each other. Also, a liner 12 having a cylindrical shaft holding part 12a for internally including the transmission shaft 8 in the rotatable manner and multiple protrusions 12c protruded from an outer circumferential surface 12b of this shaft holding part 12a are disposed in the inside of the hollow tube 11. Then, the protrusions 12c are formed in the height where the side face 12d can come in contact with the side face 11c of the rib 11b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】十分な軽量化が可能な刈払機用操作棹を得る。【解決手段】原動機の回転力を刈刃側に伝達する伝動軸8を回転自在に内部に収めた中空管11を有する刈払機用操作棹1において、中空管11に、その内周面11aから突出して中空管11の筒軸方向に延びるリブ11bを複数、中空管11の周方向に互いに間隔を置いて形成する。また、伝動軸8を回転自在に内部に収める筒状の軸保持部12aおよび、この軸保持部12aの外周面12bから突出した複数の突部12cを有するライナー12を、中空管11の内部に配設する。そして上記突部12cを、その側面12dがリブ11bの側面11cに当接し得る高さに形成する。【選択図】図1
