CONSTITUTION: A siphon type intake system 10 is a system for conveying water using the principle of siphon and comprises a siphon pipe 12 extending from a water source 102 to a water supply destination 106 across a levee body 100. The siphon pipe is provided with a water supply stopping device 60 for stopping the supply of water feeding through the siphon pipe when the water level of the water source reaches a predetermined water level.
