PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation device for cultivating a medicinal plant having underground part tissues (root, rhizome and tuber) as the main medicinal parts.SOLUTION: The cultivation device includes a cultivation container in which a plant is planted and cultivated, and a nutritious liquid tank installed with the cultivation container in the inside and storing nutritious liquid promoting plant growth. The cultivation container includes a bottom hole part flowing the nutritious liquid into the cultivation container, a sheet laid to block the bottom hole part and allowing the nutritious liquid to infiltrate thereinto, pebbles laid on the sheet, a first support body laid on the pebbles and absorbing and holding the nutritious liquid infiltrating into the sheet, and a second support body laid on the first support body to support a plant and absorbing and holding the nutritious liquid.
