PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation device for cultivating a medicinal plant having underground part tissues (root, rhizome, tuber, etc.) as main medicinal parts.SOLUTION: A cultivation device includes: a cultivation container in which a plant is planted and cultivated and a nutritious liquid tank internally provided with the cultivation container, the tank capable of storing a nutritious liquid for promoting the growth of the plant. The cultivation container includes: a bottom hole portion through which the nutritious liquid is entered to the cultivation container a nutritious liquid-permeable sheet laid to block the bottom hole portion pebbles laid over the sheet a first support laid on the pebbles, the first support being capable of absorbing and holding the nutritious liquid penetrated through the sheet and a second support laid on the first support body to support the plant, the second support being capable of absorbing and holding the nutritious liquid.
