PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the likelihood of breaking a planting tool due to unstable timing of seedling planting resulting from a large amount of soil attached around the root of a seedling scraped from a frame of a seedling receiver with a seedling picking claw.SOLUTION: A planting apparatus is provided with a rotary case attached rotatably to a frame of a planting power transmission part, and a plurality of planting bodies 27 attached rotatably to the rotary case. Each of the planting bodies has a planting body case 35, a seedling picking claw 36 attached to the planting body case for picking a seedling from a board for loading the seedling, push-out bodies 29, 37 attached to the planting body case for pushing out a seedling held in the seedling picking claw to a field, push-out body moving mechanisms 32, 33, 41 for moving the push-out bodies along the seedling picking claw, and seedling picking claw moving mechanism 39, 40, 42 for retracting the seedling picking claw along the push-out bodies.
