To provide skin photoaging preventive agents that can essentially prevent the photoaging of the skin by ultraviolet rays, by not only scattering or absorbing UV rays directly on the skin surface by applying a UV scattering agent or UV absorber, but allowing the defense function of skin cells to work normally within the skin.SOLUTION: The photo-aging prevention agent of the present invention comprises as an active ingredient an α-linolenic acid derivative contained in Perilla frutescens oil, Linum usitatissimum seed oil, Perilla frutescens fruit oil, Salvia hispanica oil, Plukenetia volubilis oil, or green nut oil. The photoaging preventive agent suppresses a decrease in the amount of collagen produced by human dermal fibroblasts and can be used as a functional cosmetic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14【課題】紫外線散乱剤や紫外線吸収剤等を塗布して皮膚表面で紫外線を直接散乱させたり吸収したりするだけではなく、皮膚の内部で皮膚細胞の防御機能が正常に作用するようにして、紫外線による皮膚の光老化を本質的に予防することのできる皮膚の光老化予防剤を提供する。【解決手段】光老化予防剤は、エゴマ油、亜麻仁油、シソの実油、チアシード油、サチャインチ油、又は、グリーンナッツ油に含有されるα－リノレン酸誘導体を有効成分として含有する。この光老化予防剤は、ヒト真皮繊維芽細胞のコラーゲン産生量の低下を抑制し、機能性化粧品として利用できる。【選択図】図１４
