The present invention provides a self-decomposable flowerpot and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method includes the following steps: (A) selecting an organic material with drying processing (B) pulverizing or fining the material after processing in step (A) (C) mixing the material after processing in step (B) with an adhesive (D) forming the material from step (C) in a mold and taking the flowerpot out of the mold. The present invention further provides a planting method, which grows a plant in the flowerpot obtained by the aforementioned method.
