PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new gummy candy-like structure which has a texture rich in gummy candy-like elasticity and additionally a smooth texture, has good solubility in mouth, and is suitable for distribution for a long period at an ordinary temperature and to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a sugar-coated candy which has a crispy surface, a smooth texture in the central part, and has a new texture.SOLUTION: The gummy candy-like structure comprises 50 to 80 wt.% of a collagen peptide having an average mol.wt. of not more than 20,000 in the solid content, 5 to 10 wt.% of oils and fats, 3 to 9 wt.% of gelatin of 100 to 350 bloom, and 12 to 36 wt.% of glycerol, substantially not containing sugar and starch syrup, and having a total water content of 15 to 20%. The gummy candy-like structure is obtained by mixing a collagen peptide solution, oils and fats, and gelatin swollen and dissolved in glycerol, and then filling the obtained mixture in a mold, and then cooling and drying the mixture in the mold.
