PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chromium-containing metal material having a hydrogen permeation preventing function film excellent in film adhesion.SOLUTION: A chromium-containing metal material includes a metal material of stainless steel or chromium-molybdenum steel, a chromium oxynitride film which covers at least a part of the surface of the metal material, and a ceramic film which covers at least a part of the surface of the chromium oxynitride film. The film thickness of the chromium oxynitride film is in a range of from 0.01 to 1 μm, and the film thickness of the ceramic film is in a range of from 0.1 to 10 μm.
