A force sensor for measuring the occlusal forces of a jaw of a patient comprises a housing (1) of tubular shape and having an axis of revolution (R), two bearing faces (11, 12) substantially perpendicular to the axis of revolution (R) and intended to be clamped between the teeth of the patient, a test body (13) mounted in the housing (1) between the bearing faces (11, 12) and means for application (10) for applying the clamping forces to the test body (13). The test body (13) comprises a disk (130), the application means (10) comprising a piston (101) pressing on a central zone (1300) of the disk (130) on a first face (1301) and a ring gear (104) at the periphery of the disc (130) on a second face (1302) opposite the first face (1301).Un capteur de force pour la mesure de forces occlusales d'une mâchoire d'un patient comporte un boîtier (1) de forme tubulaire et ayant un axe de révolution (R), deux faces d'appui (11, 12) sensiblement perpendiculaires à l'axe de révolution (R) et destinées à être serrées entre les dents du patient, un corps d'épreuve (13) monté dans le boîtier (1) entre les faces d'appui (11, 12) et des moyens d'application (10) pour appliquer les forces de serrage sur le corps d'épreuve (13). Le corps d'épreuve (13) comporte un disque (130), les moyens d'application (10) comportant un piston (101) appuyant sur une zone centrale (1300) du disque (130) sur une première face (1301) et une couronne (104) à la périphérie du disque (130) sur une deuxième face (1302) à l'opposé de la première face (1301).
