The present invention relates to an apparatus for preparing and dispensing cold food products such as ice cream. According to the present invention, the apparatus (10) includes: an upper tank (12) which is cooled to contain liquid preparation； and a cooled cylinder below (14) which contains a motor-driven scraper (15) and receives the liquid preparation from the upper tank (12) in order to produce a finished product using the liquid preparation, and dispenses the finished product through a tap (16) on one end thereof in a controllable manner. The liquid preparation passes through a mixer pipe (21) between the upper tank (12) and the cooled cylinder (14). The mixer pipe (21) mixes the liquid preparation with air.
