PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for skin containing a material having excellent proliferation effect of stem cells existing in the skin and differentiation induction promoting effect to fibroblast and keratinocyte, effective for ameliorating roughened skin and wrinkle and comprehensively ameliorating skin damages caused by aging, etc.
SOLUTION: It has been found that extract of Prunus avium seed, extract of Hordeum vulgare seed and extract of Sterculia scaphigera seed respectively have excellent stem cell proliferation promoting effect, differentiation induction promoting effect to fibroblast and differentiation induction promoting effect to keratinocyte, and that an external preparation for skin containing these extracts has excellent effect for ameliorating roughened skin and wrinkle.
