The present invention relates to a container for feed or drink from an animal. The invention also relates to a wall that can be used in a stable or animal clinic. The container and the wall are made of a material that is homogeneously mixed with a photocatalyst. Illuminating the container and the wall with a light source, such as a UV light source, ensures disinfection and prevents the growth of microorganisms in the container or on the wall.
