Disclosed is an antibody that binds specifically to B7RP1 wherein the antibody, or an antigen-binding or an immunologically functional immunoglobulin fragment thereof, comprises a heavy chain comprising a CDR1 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 27 and a light chain comprising a CDR1 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 15, the antibody or the fragment thereof further comprising: (a) a heavy chain CDR2 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 28, a heavy chain CDR3 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 29, a light chain CDR2 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO:16, and a light chain CDR3 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 17； or (b) a heavy chain CDR2 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 33, a heavy chain CDR3 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 34, a light chain CDR2 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO:21, and a light chain CDR3 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 22； wherein the antibody or the fragment thereof inhibits B7RP1 activity.
