PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform long scale photographing by connecting a plurality of radiation detecting units without producing difference in level at a connection place.SOLUTION: In this radiation image photographing apparatus 20A, respective panel housing parts 34a-34c are connected by connection parts 120a-120c and 122a-122c so that respective radiation conversion panels 172a-172c are partially overlapped with each other so as to be alternately repeated in the order of first irradiation surfaces 148a and 148c and a second irradiation surface 148b.
