The present invention pertains to: a vegetable oil-whey protein complex having a whey protein adhered to the surface of a lipid globule of a vegetable oil; a vegetable oil-whey protein complex obtained by contacting a lipid globule of a vegetable oil and a whey protein with one another in an aqueous solution, wherein the ratio of the vegetable oil to the whey protein is 1:0.002-2.5 by weight; and a method for producing a vegetable oil-whey protein complex which involves a step for contacting a whey protein and a lipid globule of a vegetable oil with one another in an aqueous solution.
