PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter allowing a user to position it with respect to a narrow section, while observing a balloon, and further, clearly forming a front view field where the catheter enters.SOLUTION: The catheter includes: an expansion body 110 that is inflatable a long and hollow body part 120 having a distal end to which the expansion body is fitted and an imaging part 141 forward/backward movably provided along the longitudinal direction of the body part in the inside of the body part. The imaging part is forward/backward movable from at least a base end side of the expansion body to a tip end side across the expansion body.
