PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the function of a portable communication terminal to be expanded easily.SOLUTION: A cover 10 is attached to a portable communication terminal 20, and has the cover 10 and a communication unit 120. A sensor 110 measures the amount of a specific component contained in an object F. When the object F is a vegetable or fruit, the specific component is a nutriment such as sugar or vitamin. When the object F is a portion of human body (e.g., a finger), the specific component is the blood glucose level, for example.
