PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisturizing method bringing about a more enhanced moisturizing effect: and to provide a moisturizer.SOLUTION: A moisturizer 100 includes an ion generator 500, a mist generator 600 and a controller 300. The ion generator 500 generates positive ions and negative ions bound with water molecules from air by electric discharge in the atmosphere. The mist generator 600 miniaturizes liquid into mist state to spray.
