PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a bleaching agent used as a first agent to be mixed with a second agent including hydrogen peroxide, in a bleaching agent used by mixing the first agent with the second agent, in which when it is weighed in a container, heat generation can be suppressed even when moisture such as water drops is stuck to the container, and further, bleaching capacity is made sufficiently satisfactory as well.SOLUTION: The composition for a bleaching agent includes: (A) a persulfate (B) a dispersant and (C) sodium metasilicate, where in the component (C), particles with particle diameters of 100 to 380 μm occupy a ratio of 60 to 80 mass% of the whole of the component (C).
