Pharmaceutical formulation multi-component crystal particles and compositions, methods for their preparation, their use in inhalation therapy and inhalation devices containing such particles, in particular particles comprising glycopyrrolate. The particles are substantially free of agents other than excipients and active agents, or precursors of these agents, and recycle the solution in the first fluid stream with the anti-solvent in the second fluid stream. It can be prepared in the presence of ultrasound irradiation in a method that involves contacting, causing mixing of these, and collecting the resulting crystals.
