PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traction clamp assembly, in which at least one of two rods is provided with a function of making snap action in a loose grip position before the two rods securely make clamping action.SOLUTION: A clamp unit suitably usable for a traction clamp comprises an upper clamp and a lower clamp. The clamp includes a movable jaw and a fixed jaw pivotally movable between a locked state and an unlocked state. Both lock the clamp in a closed state, and fix an angular position of the clamp to each other.
