PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flail mower capable of conducting stems/leaves-treating operations in high accuracy while preventing causing vibrations as well as enabling normal mowing operations.SOLUTION: The flail mower includes a first cutting tine 26 detachable from one of tine fitments 22 of a rotating shaft 21 and a second cutting tine 27 detachable from the other tine fitment 22 and smaller than the first cutting tine 26, and also includes a balancing weight 28 with a weight corresponding to the weight difference between the first cutting tine 26 and the second cutting tine 27. In conducting a mowing operation, the first cutting tine 26 is fitted onto the tine fitment 22.
