PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a promoting agent for regeneration of intestinal intramural nervous system having as an effective ingredient 4-amino-5-chloro-2-ethoxy-N-[[4-(4-fluorobenzyl)-2-morpholinyl]methyl]benzamide or its physiologically acceptable salt.SOLUTION: The agent promotes generation of the intestinal intramural nervous system by medicating an anastomotic part of an intestinal wall damaged by an operation or the like with mosapride citrate or the like.
