PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope instrument which permits an efficient heat exhaustion of a light-emitting member at the tip and a reduction of the outside diameter of an insertion section while sufficiently securing luminous energy of the light-emitting member.
SOLUTION: The endoscope instrument 1 is provided with a bend on the tip side and has a slender insertion section which keeps a tip adapter (tip) 5 connected to an insertion section tip portion 3 at the tip and a heat exhaustion section 8 which externally exhausts heat generated from a plurality of LED chips (light-emitting members) 7 arranged in the tip adapter 5. A water absorbing section 18 is composed by superposing a metal net (porous member) having many meshes (holes) 18a thereon and forms a part of the external surface of the tip adapter 5.
