PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope including a structure that can prevent tortuosity of a bendable part in a non-bent state and eliminate slacking of pulling wires.SOLUTION: An endoscope includes a bendable part 12 included in an insertion section, pulling wires 20u and 20d each having a distal end connected to the bendable part and causing the bendable part to bend by being pulled at a proximal end, and elastic members 30u and 30d each having a first end fixed to joint 25u or 25d at a middle position of the pulling wire 20u or 20d and a second end fixed to an outer sheath 3gf positioned on the distal end side relative to the joints 25u and 25d.
