PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which prevents wrinkles from being easily caused in the block area of an absorptive core in an absorber even when an elastic member is contracted, and enables the absorber to be fitted to the body of a wearer.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 10 includes an absorptive body 20 including an absorptive core 22, and an exterior body 30. At the girth part of the exterior body 30, a girth elastic member 35a is disposed. The absorptive core 22 is disposed such that a part of it overlaps with the girth elastic member 35a in a plan view.
