PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing apparatus capable of improving safety and operability in a reclining operation and reducing a load on a helper.SOLUTION: In a bathing apparatus, a placement part for placing a human body is constituted by a base body and a movable placement part, and the movable placement part is arranged so as to recline with respect to the base body. The apparatus includes a rising/falling regulation part for regulating the rising/falling of the movable placement part. The rising/falling regulation part is arranged as a single body at a predetermined distance from a rotational axis related to the rising/falling of the movable placement part, and the regulation and deregulation are performed by the rising/falling operation of the movable placement part concerning the bathing apparatus.
