USE OF PHTHALIDES IN THE PREPARATION OF MEDICINE FOR REPLACING AND/OR ASSISTING HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY (HBOT) TO ENHANCE THE OXYGENATION LEVEL OF TISSUE CELLS
The present invention relates to a use of phthalides in the preparation of medicine for replacing and/or assisting hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to enhance the oxygenation level of tissue cells, wherein the use of phthalides can avoid/alleviate the complications and adverse side effects commonly encountered in HBOT, including oxygen toxicity and accompanying seizures and severe respiratory illness, decompression sickness, or arterial gas embolism. The phthalides can play a role similar to 2,3-BPG in modulating the hemoglobin allostery to lower its oxygen affinity, and can facilitate the oxygen release function of hemoglobin to reach and maintain the normal cellular oxygenation level without overly raising the partial pressure of oxygen as that conventionally practiced in HBOT.本發明係關於一種苯酞類化合物用於製備替代或輔助高壓氧療法改善組織缺氧之醫藥組合物的用途,其中該苯酞類化合物具有提升血液中血紅蛋白的釋氧能力並進而達到提升組織含氧量程度的功效,其中該苯酞類化合物當替代或協同高壓氧療法施於患者時,可避免傳統高壓氧療法常見之氣壓傷、減壓病及氧中毒等副作用。該苯酞類化合物用於替代/協助2,3-二磷酸甘油酸調節並降低血紅蛋白之對氧親和力,提升血紅蛋白釋放氧氣至組織細胞之效率,使細胞含氧量達到並維持在正常範圍。
