PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently inhibiting waterborne bacteria.SOLUTION: A method for inhibiting waterborne bacteria comprises using a combination of a chlorine-based oxidant with sulfamic acid or the salt thereof, or using in combination, a medical agent comprising chlorosulfamic acid or the salt thereof and an inorganic or organic slime control agent. In the method, it is preferable to add the medical agent at the same time as that of adding the slime control agent or prior thereto. It is, for example, acceptable to have a process of adding the medical agent and slime control agent to the place at which a slime obstruction is detected.【課題】水系の微生物を効率的に抑制することができる方法を提供すること。【解決手段】水系の微生物抑制方法は、塩素系酸化剤、及びスルファミン酸もしくはその塩の組み合わせ、又はクロロスルファミン酸もしくはその塩からなる薬剤と、無機系又は有機系のスライムコントロール剤と、を併用する。この方法は、薬剤の添加を、スライムコントロール剤の添加と同時又はそれより前に行う工程を有することが好ましい。例えば、スライム障害が検知された個所に、薬剤及びスライムコントロール剤を添加する工程を有してよい。【選択図】なし
