PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seasoning capable of enhancing spice feeling such as flavor, pungent or thickness, easily being manufactured and widely available.SOLUTION: There is provided a seasoning containing (A) methionol and 2-phenylethanol and (B) protein hydrolysate containing no fraction having molecular weight of over 30,000.
