The invention relates to a device for preparing and introducing a transplant (8) or an implant into a living body, in particular for opthalmological interventions and especially for carrying out a DMEK operation. Said device has a cartridge (1) or a sleeve with two opposing openings at the ends (2, 3), the first opening (2) having a greater diameter than the second opening (3). The device according to the invention is suitable both for the careful preparation of and precise introduction of a transplant (8) or implant into a living body. The invention also relates to a ready-to-use set comprising the device according to the invention.
