The invention refers to a milking device and a connector member (7). A milk-transporting conduit (1) is attachable to a teat of an animal and connected to a milk-collecting member (5). A pump device (6) is connected to the milk-transporting conduit for producing a relatively low pressure for sucking milk from the teat to the milk-collecting member via the milk-transporting conduit. A gas inlet member is provided for the introduction of a gas into the milk-transporting conduit in order to permit the transport of milk. The gas inlet member includes a nozzle channel and a passage, which are joined to each other at a common intermediate connection in such a way that the passage enables communication to the surrounding environment and the nozzle channel enables communication to the milk-transporting conduit. The gas inlet member also includes an additional conduit, which is joined to the intermediate connection.
