PURPOSE: A composition for treating allergic diseases using wheat bran extract is provided to suppress beta-hexosaminidase generation and to ensure anti-allergic effect. CONSTITUTION: A composition for treating allergic diseases contains wheat bran extract as an active ingredient. A method for preparing the wheat bran extract comprises a step of dipping wheat bran in water, alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms, or a mixture solvent thereof or a step o f fractioning the extract with two or more solvents among water, alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms, or a mixture solvent thereof. The composition is a pharmaceutical or food composition. The daily dose of the pharmaceutical composition is 0.001-150 mg/kg(body weight).본 발명은 비만세포의 탈과립을 억제하는 활성을 가지고 수동 피부 과민증 동물실험에 있어서도 항알러지 활성을 보이는 밀겨 추출물을 이용한 알러지성 질환의 개선제 조성물에 관한 것이다.
