PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a whey peptide nutrient that reduces the amount of remainings in a stomach and inhibits GER (gastroesophageal reflux) for old people who continue enteral nutrition for a long time.
SOLUTION: The whey peptide nutrient includes 2.8-6.0 wt.% of whey peptide having an average molecular weight of 300-1,500 daltons as a protein source, 15-30 wt.% of dextrin of a DE (dextrose equivalent) of 10-20 as a carbohydrate source, and 0.1-1.0 wt.% of a thickening polysaccharide, and does not substantially include lipid. The whey peptide nutrient has a calorie of 0.8-1.2 kcal/mL and viscosity of 5,000-15,000 mPa s. The whey peptide nutrient reduces the amount of remainings in a stomach and inhibits GER (gastroesophageal reflux) for old people who continue enteral nutrition for a long time.
