The method for controlling the posture correction apparatus using air pressure according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: inputting weight data of a user； measuring the pressure according to the sitting posture of the user on a moving plate； making a control unit generate a control signal for supplying air to an air compression pad needing pressure compensation according to the measured pressure； transmitting the control signal, generated by the control unit, to a motor； making the motor generate power corresponding to the control signal and transmit the power to wire connected to a pulley； transferring the power, received by the wire, to an extension plate； moving the extension plate as much as the power transferred by the wire； supplying air from a pressure expansion tube to the air compression pad by the moving extension plate； and making the air compression pad receive the air to move the moving plate.
